How to Eat Your Veggies and Love Them Too

How To Use A Chef's Knife to Chop Veggies Vegetable Nutrition Facts

The inexpensive veggies are just as tasty and nutritious as the expensive ones, even more so, since you can afford to buy more of them.

If you can't get good affordable fresh veggies, buy frozen vegetables ... just eat your veg, however you can! Wherever and however you get them, buy the freshest, best quality vegetables and fruit you can find and afford.

Make vegetables and fruit the focal point of your diet, and a major portion of your food budget. Whatever you might have (formerly) spent on eating out, processed food, meat & dairy, sugar & fat laden snacks - spend it on veggies, the low carb energy boost.

Buy in season, buy local and buy organic as much as possible. Your food dollars will benefit your community instead of going off to California. Your body will thank you for the extra vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients. Think of it as cheap health insurance!

Joining a CSA, shopping your local farmer's market & growing your own are all great ways to get the tastiest, freshest, most nutritious vegetables.
