Santiago's Salsa Fresca - Real Live Salsa

Santiago's Salsa Fresca

Salsa (Pico de Gallo), Versatile Topping or Dip

Recipe from Vegan World Fusion Cuisine, courtesy Vegan Fusion

Sure, we can live without salsa, just the same as we can live without someone to love - but is it really living? This is Real Live Salsa, as opposed to supermarket salsa. Two different universes.

Also known as 'pico de gallo', this salsa recipe is versatile as a topping for bruschetta, fajitas, soft tacos and avocado halves, and as a dip for veggies, jicama, crackers and chips.

Use organic ingredients, to get the full taste sensation. It takes about 15 minutes to make 2 1/2 cups of salsa, and about the same amount of time for 2 - 4 hungry people to devour, so make lots.
