Thaw the packages of açai berry purée and chill the cans of coconut milk overnight in the fridge for best results. Use nicely ripe (spotty but not mushy) bananas. All steps in this recipe, up to assembling the individual servings, can be done several hours ahead of time.
Serve Açai Berry Banana Dessert in small glass dishes or stemmed glasses for a lovely visual effect.
Açai berries are grown in Brazil, and taste like a delicious combination of berries and chocolate. They're full of antioxidants, healthy fatty acids, fiber, amino acids, and over ten vitamins and minerals. Amafruits açai berries are wild-harvested, pulped and frozen on the same day.
